Wynwood Miami Art District Guide
The Wynwood Miami Art District has become increasingly popular over South Beach as tourists flock to this area of town to get the best photos of Miami Art. Since I live in the area, a Wynwood Miami Art District Guide was easy for me to create. Wynwood has grown in popularity over the neighboring Miami Design District as street art in Miami has become popular for recent tourists. The Miami Art district is just north of downtown and only 15 minutes away from South Beach. The area is famous for shopping, restaurants, and the famous Wynwood Walls. I think this is one of the most unique areas in the world, as Wynwood Art exists on every corner. Even the sidewalks and street signs have something creative. Locals and tourists flock to the area every second Saturday to enjoy the Wynwood Art Walk which hosts outdoor events. The area is also popular for Art Basel as the Wynwood Art District Miami houses a lot of the events that happen every year.
Wynwood Miami Hotels
There aren’t many hotels in the area near Wynwood, so renting an Airbnb is a great idea. I suggest finding an apartment in Midtown or Edgewater if you want to be walking distance or a short Uber ride to all of the Wynwood Art. Click on this link to get $40 off your first stay. To be honest, I would only stay in a hotel near Wynwood if you plan to spend the whole weekend here, otherwise downtown or South Beach is close enough to come for the day.
Best Brunch In Wynwood
My favorite place below is MIAM cafe, but here is a run down of them all. Zak the baker has amazing kosher, New York deli style food and all of the bread is baked in house daily. They are closed on Saturday’s so make sure to plan accordingly. Wynwood Diner is the perfect spot for large groups and a great place to spend a few hours. The chicken and waffles are amazing. MIAM cafe is just good all around. They have the best coffee, matcha latte’s, and breakfast menu (organic eggs on the menu are always a plus). Morgan’s is also a great spot for larger groups and has a ton of items on the menu. OTL is a great place in Design District and has the best avocado toast in the city. Salty Donut will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth craving and has the most unique donuts I have seen in town. Below are the locations of the best Brunch spots in Wynwood:

Best of Wynwood Miami Art District Guide
These are some awesome, unique, one of a kind places that can only be found in Wynwood.
- MYUMI: This is a Food Truck located in Wynwood yard that offers a badass Omakase style sushi dinner. Omakase means “chef’s selection” in Japanese. If you would like to make a reservation, download the app Resy.
- Kuenko: This food truck is owned by a Michelin Star Chef that specializes in Poke bowls. My favorite is the tuna bowl and each bowl is unique and comes with a cracked egg. The prices are amazing at $10 a bowl.
- Wynwood Walls: These are the famous walls where everyone loves to take photos and post on instagram. The Wall Art Murals usually change every year during Art Basel which always takes place in December. The Wynwood Walls are located at 2520 NW 2nd Ave Miami, FL 33127.
- Midtown Garden Center: This cute place is a garden center and also has a very popular pop up food truck called La Pollita.

There is a lot of Wynwood Art scattered around the neighborhood, and the best way to see all of the Street Art would be to walk or ride a bike. There is an awesome site called Wynwood Map that serves as a great Wynwood Miami Art District Guide and maps out the Wynwood Murals including photos as well. Rent a bike from Citi bike and spend the day looking at all of the Wynwood Murals and breaking a sweat.
