I happened to stop in Bali for four days after a wedding in Singapore. Since I was there such a short period of time, I rented a driver for $30 USD and let him show me how to spend one day in Bali. After going to Japan, I loved ramen so much that I wanted to experiment making it at home. I had mostly pork when I was over there, and do not make pork much at home. I went with short rib for my protein since I love it so much, and it is a great touch in soup when it falls off the bone. So then, I decided to make short rib ramen with my own ingredients. Before going to Tokyo, I wanted to make sure that I had the best Sushi experience of my life, so I came to Sushi Bar Yasuda. I was told about Jiro Dreams of Sushi by several people and thought the price was outrageous. It is $300 for only a 30 minute experience from what I heard. I spoke to a bunch of friends in LA and they said there were better places to go. I did some research on Anthony Bourdain since he claims Tokyo is the greatest city in the world.
